Imgur started as a simple image sharer with a single-use case. But it grew into a community-powered entertainment platform with 28M+ daily active users and it needs a brand that matched it’s a new position in the market. This rebrand was done in house and I worked closely with my amazing creative team, marketing, sales, engineering, and leadership, I sought to refresh and unify all the visual touch-points of our brand for a seamless and joyful experience. Inspired by space exploration, Memphis design patterns, and vaporwave color treatments, I wanted the rebranding to reflect and represent the depth of Imgur’s content, the historical context of the internet, and the platform's fun-loving experience. The design architecture was created to be flexible and adaptable, scaling with the brand’s continued growth. The redesign received coverage in Adweek and Wired was featured on Hire by Google as one of their top 10 creative career pages in tech.
